P1 Registration is an independent, free tool. Everything on this site is built from public data — here is exactly where it comes from, how the numbers are calculated, and how often they are updated.
Where the data comes from
Primary school list, addresses, type & affiliations
MOE school directory·181 schools
School coordinates & home-to-school distance
OneMap (Singapore Land Authority)·Geocoding + straight-line distance
2025 per-tier ballot data (SC <1km / 1–2km / >2km)
p1registration.sg·Phase 2B & 2C
2025 & 2026 total vacancies
MOE P1 registration portal·Used for the year-on-year delta
After-school care (school-based SCC)
MSF Student Care Services, data.gov.sg·Matched to each school
How the ballot ratio is calculated
For each school, phase and year we compute the competition ratio as:
Ratio = Applicants ÷ Vacancies
A ratio above 1 means there were more applicants than places, so a ballot was held. The headline figure on school and area pages uses the most recent year with valid Phase 2C data. Colour coding:
Red — over 2× applicants per place (very competitive)
Amber — 1.3× to 2× (moderately competitive)
Green — under 1.3× (usually no ballot)
How distance is measured
When you enter your address, we geocode it with OneMap and compute the straight-line (“as the crow flies”) distance to each school — the same basis MOE uses for its 1km and 2km priority bands. Your address is used only to calculate distance in your browser and is never stored.
How often the data is updated
•Historical ballot results — annually, after Phase 2C(S) results in late August.
•Live ballot results — refreshed through each results day during the registration period (July–August).
•Vacancies — updated when MOE publishes new figures ahead of each registration exercise.
Important disclaimer
P1 Registration is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by MOE. Historical ballot data shows past competition and does not guarantee admission.
Always confirm dates, eligibility and procedures on the official MOE P1 registration website before making decisions.
