If you used home-school distance priority to gain a place, you must live at that registered address for at least 30 months from the start of the P1 registration exercise.
This 30-month residency rule deters families from using an address only to secure a place and then moving away. It applies to those who benefited from the 1km or 2km distance bands.
If MOE finds the residency commitment was not met, your child’s place may be withdrawn or transferred to another school.
